Following a top-20 finish in Kia Motors' second race and first-ever auto race on U.S. soil, the Infinity Audio Kia Forte Koups returned to the track on the Homestead 200 (Homestead Miami freeway) on March 6.

Like their inaugural race, both the Koups finished among the top twenty, at spots #10and #12. Kia motorsports is inching closer to its foremost quest of a podium finish! Currently Kia stands at an impressive 7th position among manufacturers point standings and is poised for more races in May and in June.
Announced in 2009 at the SEMA show press conference, Kia announced the founding of a U.S. motorsports program and revealed that two factory-backed Forte Koups would race in the Grand-Am Koni Sports Car Challenge Series beginning in the 2010 season.
And as promised, Kia has made its presence felt and is well on its way to become a serious contender for a podium finish.
